cuz u have to rinse ur mouth out with water. i know this sounds stupid, but im just asking cuz my lil bro said it is but i usually brush my teeth after sehaar to take out the food particles stuck in my mouth ( ya i know that sounds disgusting but w/e)Is it haram to brush your teeth while fasting?
It is not haram! U can still rinse ur mouth while your fasting as long as you do not swallow the water. Rinsing ur mouth is part of the ablution we must do before we pray anyway. So it definitely is not haram. Just try not to swallow the water .
Hope that helps! Is it haram to brush your teeth while fasting?
it's not haram but muslims should prevent from rinsing mouth with water, because there is a risk of swallowing water or swallowing the drops left in your mouth. as i heard, since ramadan is in summer this year, people can rinse mouth easily. anyway i advise you to brush your teeth just after you eat your meal in suhoor before starting fasting :)
U shud brush your teeth right after eating at sehri so that u have a clean mouth in the morning bcoz if you brush ur teeth in the morning there is a chance that u mite swallow a bit of water or toothpaste without knowing or jusy by accident...it happened to me so i would suggest not risking it....just brush ur teeth after eating at sehri :)
It is absolutely fine to brush one鈥檚 teeth with toothpaste while fasting so long as one takes care not to swallow anything that reaches the throat

You are allowed to rinse your mouth whilst fasting as long as the water dose not go down your throat.
Yes you can brush you teeth while you are fasting with a tooth brush or siwak however there are different opinions concerning the use of tooth paste while fasting.
okay, i have 3 muslim friends, be right back i will call one of them. il come back and edit.
鈾?
edit: no. unless you swollow the water. but because she lives (and myself) live in a verry hot enviroment she can drink little bits of water.
Who ever said it's haram to brush your teeth while fasting must be insane. By the end of Ramadan, dentists would be having good business!
Its confusing. We also do ablution. So better do brush before fajr prayer.
Your God will forgive you because religion preaches to Think of Others before yourself.
i brushed my teeth today
yeah its fine, just dont swallow any water
