Do you brush your teeth before or after you eat breakfast?

I brush them before, but a lot of Americans brush them after. Is it a cultural thing?Do you brush your teeth before or after you eat breakfast?

uh.. i do both because i hate the way my mouth feels in teh morning and then i don;t like going to school and having food still lodged inbetween my molars.

I always brush them after. It just seems to me pointless to brush them then eat something. Just the way I see it.
