I'm 15 weeks preg. my gums have been really sore and i've been noticing blood in my sink when brushing my teeth, is this normal during pregnancy? This never happened to me before when brushing.Gums bleed everytime i brush my teeth?
Normal. Most likely it will stop once you have your baby. Just continue going to your regularly scheduled dentist appointments and you will be fine. You can rinse with salt water if your gums get more sensitive, swollen etc. The salt water will help. My dentist recommends it.Gums bleed everytime i brush my teeth?
My gums were really swollen for awhile for a few weeks. I actually cut my gums eating chex mix and man, oh man did that hurt for days. The swelling went down for me, sometimes it flares up but not as bad. It's normal because of the excess of blood volume your heart is producing, sometimes nosebleeds accompany it too.
Yes, it's normal. It happened to me when i was pregnant. My had swollen and was so sore that I had to go to the dentist! I had to use a certain type of mouthwash the helped the swelling go down. IF it doesn't get any better, try going to the dentist. GOOD LUCK and I hope you feel better.
Yep, hormones cause your gums to be more sensitive. But if there's a lot of blood and your gums are really red and sore, it might be gingivitis.
Very normal, get used to it :( maybe buy a softer bristle brush?
