Is the boob brush against a guy's arm ever unintentional?

About as unintentional as dropping something on the floor while wearing a short skirt.

j0e (never drops things on the floor when he wears a short skirt)Is the boob brush against a guy's arm ever unintentional?
With me it always is... I have always had guy friends and IF I do it, it's probably because you are in my way in the buffet line. For the most part, I forget I even have them, unless I am trying to look good for the hubby. If I am doing that They are duct taped up in unnatural angles. Is the boob brush against a guy's arm ever unintentional?
Yes. I've never brushed against a guy on purpose. I don't need to take that route for attention. It's always been an accident on my side. However, I've walked by guys who have brushed up against me ON PURPOSE! Tsk Tsk.
Depends. When I first got mine, I was brushing them everywhere. Couldnt help it.

*oops*

Sorry.
Never, CC, never.
It's never intentional...
Uhmmmm......nope, when I do it, it is very intentional. I haven't had any complaints yet.
Yes, I have accidentally done it before.
Sometimes. But I never apologize for being in the way.
Not in the guy's mind.
Bewbs this big are gonna get in the way from time to time. But I like it.
Dude, they're big, they get in my way. Sorry!
Nope. Them women are all horn dogs and they know it.
I hope not!
sometimes it is, but when the girl has an A cup, u have to wonder.
I don't think so!
It usually is with me...I can't help it.

  • Why does my huskey eat her fur when i brush her?

when i brush my husky everyday i get a lot of fur out of her due to the fact huskeys shed alot but when i clean her brush out and set aside the fur to continue brushing her she most of the time or when she notices i set the fur down she will try to eat it. why does she do this and is it something to worrie aboutWhy does my huskey eat her fur when i brush her?
I'm not really sure but anytime my husky sees his fur on the floor or in a brush he'll try to chomp it up. I don't think it's good for them to eat their fur I've heard it'll give a dog bloat. Why does my huskey eat her fur when i brush her?
I think it is instinctual because it smells like them and they want to eat it. my golden retriever tries to eat her hair. it's not a good idea to let them eat it because it can cause problems internally, they could even get hairballs or blockages.
I can't tell you why she does it, but I can tell you my dogs do the same. They're poodle, so they shed very little but they're aways nosy about what's in the brush. I just put it off to general goofiness and love them more! :)
    Well think about it.

    She could be

    A. curious

    B. Smell something ( I mean she doesn't realize that it is HER fur she thinks it is another dog.

    C. Maybe she is hungry or doesn't like her food?
dogs like to eat anything, so just ask the vet next time you go

    What makes sage brush bloom?

I am pretty sure the heat makes it bloom because they don't generally start to bloom until it becomes hotter outside. Possibly too the amount of water in the soil, because seemingly when it is hottest and driest is when it blooms. What makes sage brush bloom?

Why when I brush my teeth at night before bed?...?

If I brush my teeth before bed my breath is really stinky in the morning I can even taste it its so bad and when I don't brush my teeth before bed its not so much of a problem. When I eat before bed I am really hungry in the morning as opposed to not eating right before I go to bed then I won't be so hungry in the morning. I don't get itWhy when I brush my teeth at night before bed?...?
Because the flow of saliva slows down during sleep. As a result, mouths don't get the same level of oxygen as they do while we're active. This allows anaerobic bacteria, which don't need oxygen, to thrive. ';The waste products from these bacteria often contain sulfur -- and those compounds of sulfur are what we smell.

As for the eating your stomach was full when you went to bed as your body digests the food your stomach shrinks, and your body tricks itself into thinking it's hungryWhy when I brush my teeth at night before bed?...?
Your breath is still stinky when you don't brush your teeth, you just don't notice it as much because you've gotten used to the smell as you've slept. When you do brush your teeth, then the odor becomes an accumulative one in your mouth, so you aren't as used to smelling it.

When you eat before bedtime, then your stomach has expanded and contracts as food is digested while you sleep, so you awaken to a feeling of emptiness which contrasts itself to that of fullness before sleep. When you don't eat before bedtime, then you already have that near empty stomach which pretty much stays that way while you sleep. Therefore, you awaken to pretty much the same feeling in your stomach which you went to sleep with.
Maybe the toothpaste is drying your mouth out too much.

If you're using mouthwash that's even worse because of the alcohol content.

    ';In a dry mouth the bacteria become more concentrated in the saliva, and the volatile sulfur compounds many bacteria produce tend to volatilize or evaporate more readily into the air. When this occurs, bad breath will be stronger and more noticeable. Additionally, the pH or acid/base balance of the mouth becomes altered, and provides an environment that is more conducive to the growth of anaerobic bacteria. Because there is less saliva the flushing or cleansing effect of saliva is reduced, and this results in more bacteria and cellular debris accumulating in the oral cavity.';

    ';SLS ( sodium lauryl sulfate ) acts just like a detergent. It is used in the laboratory as a membrane destabilizer and solubilizer of proteins and lipids. SLS is used in toothpaste to emulsify (mix) oil and water based ingredients together. In your toothpaste it creates the foam you get when brushing. Since it is classified as a soap, you will easily understand, why this ingredient can cause drying inside the mouth for many individuals. The dryness is one of several factors that will lead to bad breath.';
you have the opposite of things going on..lol just kidding..

try and change the toothpaste that you are using.. also i would suggest that if the problem persists then visit a dentsit so that you can get a medicl analysis.. maybe there is some bacteria or something in ur mouth..
Sounds like you live in some kind of ';Opposite'; world!

When you scrub fruits and vegetables clean with a brush. . .???

. . .do you also scrub away the nutrients??? I know you're suppose to scrub to take out the pesticides, but do you also take out the nutrients as a consequence??When you scrub fruits and vegetables clean with a brush. . .???
When first home from grocery store, you should soak them in peroxide water or a soaker from veggie isle in store just for that. then brush them quite well. Just dont peel them there will be pleanty of nutrients. And no insectisides, dirt , orany microscopic filarias or round worms. When you scrub fruits and vegetables clean with a brush. . .???
no most of the good stuff in veggies and fruits lies inside. not on the surface.

if you are concerned just rinse it off and use a soft bristle brush that will not damage what you are cleaning.

Whats an eyeliner brush and how do i use it? Is it difficult? Im pretty crap at make up?

Eyeliner is the stuff you put right under your eyes. Its easily used. It looks sort of like a pencil. So basically you just apply it to the bottom of your eyes. Some people like to use it on their top eyelid also. Google it.Whats an eyeliner brush and how do i use it? Is it difficult? Im pretty crap at make up?
its a slim bristled brush the bristles can be straight or slanted.

apply the eyeliner, it works with all types liquid powder cream etc...rest your hand or baby finger on your cheek so as to keep your hand steady, start on the inner most eye and simply drag out dont be afraid to drag it along the lashes and use them as a base line as your cover them up with mascara. finish out the line and if desired you can do a little flick to make the lashes look thicker and longer. the thickness of the line depends on personal choice thicker being more obvious, but its easy to fill out the line once you have the base one filled out.Whats an eyeliner brush and how do i use it? Is it difficult? Im pretty crap at make up?
it looks like an eyeshadow brush but its slanted and thinner. you can use it with eyeshadow/powdered eyeliner. it looks so good i love it. the slant really helps applying it

IGNORE them - it's you and your spouses world. Just brush it off - it's their insecurities .. YOU are most certainly entitled to accept or reject! How can I brush off haters?
    What precisely is a hater???

If you don't like someone or what they are doing the best thing to do is simply stay away from them. Conflict is usually silly when someone doesn't have any real reason to dislike you in the first place... you are not going to change their mind when their opinions are formed on baseless standards.

Of course, there is always the possibility that you are over sensitive and are perceiving what might be innocent comments as threatening.

You have stereotyped people as ';haters';...when I'm guessing you know nothing about them yourself...something to think about. How can I brush off haters?
Jealous people are wierd. I like it when people meet and fall in love. I am the type that will shed tears of happiness in weddings. Just ignore the haters because they can't be you!
if you are confident and true to yourself other people won't bother you as much, even the haters. basically it will give you the power to ignore them
Haters are always my greatest motivators! I love it! Let them be your inspiration to do better...
tell them that you made a committment to a 30-day challenge not to be negative and excuse yourself. maybe they'll get the hint!
Ignore them. They live off the reactions they get so don't give them any.
Buy a big brush from Home Depot.
Give them even more reasons to hate!
    give them hater-ade

How do you brush your toddler's teeth?

my son is 16 months old and brushing his teeth is a struggle. he screams, kicks and pushes my hand away. on one hand, i'm worried that this might traumatize him, but on the other, i know that i need to do this or he'll end up with a mouth-full of rotten teeth.

i've tried using those rubber gum brushes, soft washcloths, gauze, even cotton swabs, but he really just hates having someone clean his teeth.

answers and suggestions please! How do you brush your toddler's teeth?
A LOT of babies and toddlers hate having someone put their fingers in their mouths. Honestly, how much do you enjoy that experience? Basically what you're doing is shoving your fingers and whatever you're trying to use to clean the teeth in his mouth, and it's probably freaking him out, or at least is DEFINATELY not a pleasant experience.

Get him a special toothbrush for early brushers, with a favorite character on it (I think there are Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh ones). Use the Training Toothpaste (safe to swallow).

I sat my kids up on the bathroom counter with me (didn't leave them there, my hand was on them the whole time) and put a dab of the toothpaste on the brush then let them go to work. Typically, they would chomp on the toothbrush, but they liked the toothpaste so they kept it in their mouth. Then I would tell them to move the brush around.

No, early on, it wasn't a proper brushing technique, but it got the toothbrush (and toothpaste) IN their mouth, brushing up against the teeth. Around the second birthday, I'd do that but then take the brush from them and quickly do a proper job, showing them how to brush in circles and get all their teeth. I still have to help my four-year-old, but my five-year-old brushes his own teeth now, and they're both on regular kids toothpaste. How do you brush your toddler's teeth?
I use a regular toddler toothbrush with that fluoride-free toothpaste. I start singing a song while I brushed my daughter's teeth [for the bottom row I would say ';down, down, down'; and the top ';up, up, up'; and for the fronts I would say ';cheese, cheese, cheese'; because I made it like she was smiling for a camera.] She started singing the song herself and now loves to brush her teeth. Hope this helps!
My toddler LOVES the toothbrushes that ';do'; something. It's shaped like a fire engine and you push a button to make the bristles rotate and a light on the engine comes on. I let him play with it, walk around the house with it. Then I tell him it's mommy's time to help and take over for a bit. Another thing to try is distracting him, maybe put him in front of the tv for that little bit of time. Luckily right now they don't have to spit out the toothpaste and you aren't confined to the bathroom. Eventually though of course, you'll need to get there, but just start with getting the teeth brushed wherever and however you can. Good luck!!
We lead by example, give him his own brush and tell him to show you how it is done. They are rebellious at time, just stick to him brushing his own teeth.
Set up a reword system were he can get a star or something every time he allows you to brush his teeth and if he gets so many stars he gets a prize. Also, make him feel like he's part of it, take him to the store and let him pick out his own toothbrush and let him try brushing himself.
I let my son pick out his own tooth brush and paste. Then at brushing time I ask him to look up and brush him teeth, I also let him try doing it him self. When its time to rinse I take a sip and spit it out making a funny noise then ask him to do the same. Just let him be more involved in the whole process, hope this helps!
    Hi,

I let my 18 month old girl brush MY teeth

I have turned it into a game and she loves having her teeth brushed and she likes the taste of the toothpaste. Just do it lightly and a little bit, you don't have to do it as good as you would your own. You definately should brush this first set of teeth as they can become rotten long before they fall out which happened to my friends child.
    My daughter was the same.

I always gave her toothbrush, sat her down with me and let her watch me.

For a couple of days she wouldn't do anything, then she started copying me. After she used her toothbrush, I got another one which I pretended I had used on me, and that worked too so I could brush after her.

I just had to break the screaming, it took a couple of days but atleast I know her teeth are now cleaned properly.

She liked thinking she was using my toothbrush.
I had the same problem when I MYSELF tried to brush my youngest daughter's teeth at that age, and the thing that I didn't realize is that is that she wanted to do it on her own!! So, I put some of my crest (a tiny bit) on her little toothbrush and let her mimmick me while I was in the bathroom! I also made sure I asked her her favorite cartoon character that she would like to have on her toothbrush. They sell cool toothbrushes with all kinds of characters and since kids are visually stimulated, this tactic might help.. Now she is 5 and she loves to brush her teeth. He will eventually come around!! When he starts doing this on his own, just keep praising him, by saying ';that is such a big boy!!!'; Giving him ';HI-5'; will help too, if he knows that gesture! Reward him with something that he loves to eat or drink!! Hope this helps
A couple different things you can try:

    1) Always brush with him. He will learn by example.

    2) Try to make it a fun experience. We have a toothbrush song, so there is usually dancing and singing involved in the toothbrushing process.

    3) Enlist the help of a teddy bear or stuffed animal. Dry brush teddy's teeth before your sons, so he knows that it is ok to do.

    4) Let him pick out the toothpaste and the toothbrush. Electric toothbrushes tend to be more fun, and they clean more faster, which is great with a squirmy kid.

    5) Take turns. Let him try to brush his teeth for a while, and then ask if you can try for a bit. If you succeed in getting half of them clean each time that way, it's better than nothing.

    Good luck!
One thing that worked with my daughter is that I told her ';Oh no I see Swiper (character from Dora the Explorer) in your mouth';, then I had to brush him out. She actually seemed to really like that because now she comes up with her own characters for me to find and brush out.
No but i was thinking the same the other day. maybe you dont have to because he first set of teeth fall out

How do i brush out my dog's tangles?

i have a maltese and he has tangles on his leg they are really thick i always brush his hair but never get to that part b/c its so hard to get out and he doesn't like any one touching down there so how can i brush it out since it's really thick? How do i brush out my dog's tangles?
Depending on how bad the tangles are, you may need to take him to a groomer who can shave them out. A groomer can also brush out the tangles using the proper tools and they probably have a second person to help hold your dog. If the tangles are on an area that isn't viable to most people, keeping it short will help prevent tangle. Getting him used to being touched all over can help when you need to brush him .How do i brush out my dog's tangles?
I think the best way to do it would just be to cut out the tangles. My dog is the same way especially not liking his legs touched, so when he is sleeping I sit on the floor with him and when he is not looking I take a pair of scissors, good scissors and just snip out the large tangles.
Well it all depends how bad the tangles are.

If they are not very bad then take a dog brush and brush them out lightly. If the are big mats and you cant get the up then i would take the dog to the groomer and get the cut out.

My daughter is 14 years old and her teeth are yellow. She does not like to brush. Her sister has beautiful?

white teeth. She is just so lazy. It looks terrible and yes i do feel like a fool when people see her teeth. She laughs when I say something. Her sister and Grandma tell her to take care of her teeth but still nothing just yellow. What should we do????My daughter is 14 years old and her teeth are yellow. She does not like to brush. Her sister has beautiful?
I'm in the same boat as her. well i was. My mom was really loose about brushing my teeth when i was really young and still had ';baby teeth'; so when I got ';grown-up'; teeth i didnt have the habit of brushing my teeth. I finally picked it up after we went to the dentist and he said i had to get a root canal. that was a major wake up call. haha

but just remember the more you push it on her the more she isn't going to want to do it. just go to her one day and say '; I was just wondering if you are interested in me buying you some whitening strips'; then leave it at that. once she sees how good she would look with white teeth she will start brushingMy daughter is 14 years old and her teeth are yellow. She does not like to brush. Her sister has beautiful?
    1. Use consequences, such as taking away things that she wants, like tv, phone, time with friends, etc. Once she realizes she won't get those unless she brushes, she may start.

    2. You could try getting her a fun colored tooth-brush or an electric one, that could cause it to be less ';painful'; to her. Different types of toothpaste such as Crest have flavors such as orange or lemon; she could try those if she doesn't like the taste.

    3. You really should sit down and talk to her about this. Point out to her that brushing is part of routine, and daily life. If she is already lazy about brushing, she could end up skimping on other hygenial routines too such as brushing her hair or washing her face, etc. She really can have beautiful teeth if she just put a little effort into it! Brushing your teeth takes a minimum of 2 minutes out of your day, and the results are clean, white teeth and a beautiful smile. If she realizes this, she will begin to understand and put effort into it, and in the long run, she'll thank you for setting her straight while she was still young.

I hope any or all of these tips help, it will be worth it! :D
if she won't brush her teeth will she atleast use a whitening mouthwash? that way she will atleast be killing some bacteria. also, she should be about to enter high school, where unfortunately the peer pressure will probably make her change her mind rather quickly. just make sure she does go to the dentist atleast once a year to make sure there is nothing wrong with her teeth besides the discoloration.
Start telling her there will be consequences if she doesn't start. I know it's annoying, but if you asked her if she's brushed her teeth and she says she hasn't, consequence time. Only small things at first.. lose the tv for a day, etc. Gradually, she should get the idea that she needs to brush.
Maybe you could give her a reward for brushing her teeth, or you could try buying whitening strips (or other kinds of whiteners) and ask her to use them.

let her see and ask her which teeth she loves to have
Tell her that if she doesnt take of her teeth it WILL fall out and she'll have to get dentures for the rest of her life.
well i'd say take her to a social gathering, and when she talks to people and they run away screaming she'll get the idea very fast.
Tell her its not good when her yellow shirts match her teeth
you are the parent here... make her brush her teeth..it iis not really a choice... because that is just disgusting..
punish her. For example : tell her = ''if u dont brush your teeth , you cant use the computer for a month
make her brush her teeth and tell her to stop being a nasty ***
u could go get her teeth bleached and then make her take care of them afterwards.

Does anyone here brush their dogs teeth? And do you do it weekly? Monthly?

Do you brush your dogs teeth, and what do you use, and do you think it's recommended? And how many times do you do and how long. Thanks!Does anyone here brush their dogs teeth? And do you do it weekly? Monthly?
Yes I do. I brush them once a week sometimes once in every two weeks. I use a special dog toothpaste that removes tartar %26amp; a kid's toothbrush. Ofcourse it's recommended especially if you're not feeding your dogs raw meat %26amp; meaty bones everyday. This is definitely recommended to those who feed canned food %26amp; home-cooked food.Does anyone here brush their dogs teeth? And do you do it weekly? Monthly?
I feed my dogs a good quality biscuit only diet and in between they gets dentasticks rawhide chews and greenies. I also occasionally switch them to a dental biscuit diet. Dental biscuits have a special coating on them that helps break down the plaque and build up on teeth.

We used to brush our dogs teeth fortnightly back when we fed raw meat or canned food diets but it still didn't prevent us from having to pay for there teeth to be cleaned which was very expensive and one of our dogs still ended up with very few teeth when she got old.

If you do still want to do it, you can buy toothpaste and brushes from most pet shops or vets.
I have a Pit Bull and I brush his teeth about every week or sometimes every other week, but I go for every week. He is now 81/2 yrs old and his teeth are in great shape. I know that some small breeds are prone to tooth decay especially if you feed them soft food. It's a good idea to brush their teeth more often. My dog doesn't like it much and it is a two person job. I straddle him and hold his head and she brushes, but it gets done. We use chicken flavor tooth paste from the pet store.
I have to brush my dogs' teeth. They are both Boston Terriers and prone to tartar build up because of their short teeth (says Banfield vet).

I use dog toothpaste. They love the cream flavored one over the peanut butter flavor. I also use a glove the pet stores sell. This glove has texture on the forefinger and thumb area. I use this because my dogs' mouths are so small.

    Hope this helps. :)
I brush them about once a week. I probably should do it a little more frequently, but I'm just bad about it. I have mint flavored dog toothpaste that they both love (my lab would eat the whole tube if I let him.)

One of my mom's dane's never had proper dental care. She had to go under to have the vet clean them because there was so much decay. I don't want that to happen with either of mine.
yes yes yes i brush my dog teeth at least 3 or 4 times a month, its good to brush their teeth even if they growl but you can take it to the vet and they can put him or her to sleep and they can clean it,dogs can get cavities or teeth problems if they dont get them brushed someimes
yes my dog had to get one of his canines pulled thats when the vet told us we need to start brushing their teeth, you can buy dog tooth paste and tooth brushes at the pet store i recommend using the finger tool exspeacaially for small dogs i try to do it when i have time
yes i do twice a week.we reuse our old tooth brushes and use it for the dogs. i think it is recommended. human or animal ,teeth are teeth and do decay with time so if you want your dog to still have there teeth at old age its a good idea to add it to there routine.i think even once a week is good too as long as they dont eat to much soft foods.
I don't do it often,I just let them chew their toys quiet a lot. If I notice a bad build up of stuff in their mouth,I will brush it,but not on a regular basis.
Yes, about 3-4 times a week.
I don't brush my dogs teeth
yaa he gets mad when i dont seriously he growls we thought he had a barking prob but our doc told us hes so used to us brishing that hes liking it

Do you brush your dogs teeth?

If so, what was the easiest way to train him/her to sit still and not try to eat the toothbrush? So far I'm thinking it's going to have to be a two person job....Do you brush your dogs teeth?
The younger you start the better...I've always started them as pups with a finger brush and poultry flavored enzymatic toothpaste.

If it's an older dog, then you're right - It's a 2 person job, one to hold the dog and one to brush...Do you brush your dogs teeth?
i am starting to brush my 8 week old puppies teeth, she likes to bite the toothbrush because she is teething and she thinks its a toy but i just hold her mouth open and let her bite it a little bit but i get the job done. also sometimes i wait until she is sleeping, it's much easier then. that's when i clean her ears too, she hates that!
yes 2 people are better my dog never chews it but she certainly doesn't like it !
I do brush my dog's teeth. Instead of a regular toothbrush I got a thing that looks like a big rubber thimble with bristles on it. It goes over your finger. I just squeeze some Petrodex enzymatic toothpaste on it and then wipe it down the outsides of her teeth. My dog loves it! I reall don't hav e a problem with it. No need to get all crazy trying to get into every nook and cranny because the toothpaste is enzymatic it spreads over her teeth.
I don't brush my dogs teeth, it takes too much time, we use a sort of powder that helps to controll plaque
Try using your finger to brush your doggie's teeth. They're calmer becasue it not a strange, unfamiliar object in their mouth. I know that it might sound gross, but you won't hurt and irritate your dog (which is what's really important). Trust me, that's how I've brushed my dog Misty's teeth for years...
Feed your dog RAW meaty bones and you will never have to use a toothbrush. The meat flosses between the teeth and massages the gums while the edible bone scrapes the teeth clean. Depending on the size of your dog this could mean a chicken drumstick or a whole pork neck!! It needs to be large enough that the dog has to work for its dinner!

More than 80% of dogs have periodontal disease due to incorrect and inappropriate diets. This condition can lead to many health effects including rotting teeth and gums, foul breath and organ failure.

*Those big knuckle, shin and marrow bones that are sold for dogs are NOT recommended. These big weight baring bones are likely to crack teeth rather than clean them and usually have little to no meat.
I don't brush my dogs teeth..... i give them dental bones which clean there teeth

i just found these video clips

    http://www.expertvillage.com/videos/dog-鈥?/a>
I've had dogs all my life (I'm 46) and we've never brushed our dogs' teeth. All the dogs we had, growing up, lived well into their late teens, nonetheless. All the dogs I've had as an adult have also lived long, healthy lives, without teeth problems at all.

I make sure and feed them good dry dog food and let them chew on knuckle bones and other chews that help them keep their teeth healthy.
It took a long time to train my dog! Twice a week I brush her teeth-- Wednesday for the bottom teeth and Sunday for the top!

I started out by just putting the toothbrush in her mouth and giving her a treat. Then I would put doggy toothpaste on the brush and put it in her mouth, and give her a treat. Then we started (this is after doing this daily for a week at each step) brushing a two or three teeth and giving her treats until she was okay with that (about two weeks), and then started brushing only the front teeth and working my way to the back (several more weeks). I have gotten to the point now where I can brush her teeth without her closing her jaw tight or trying to eat the paste lol! She knows if she is good she will get a treat at the end.

And my dog STILL tries to eat the toothbrush once in awhile cause she loves the taste of the paste... but it gets better with time :)
Brushing is a good idea, though it's just one measure you can take to ensure your dog has a healthy and fresh mouth.

Check out the cited article for a number of other tips.
The easiest way to get your dog's teeth cleaned is to give them a raw knuckle bone from the butcher's.

Brushing your dog鈥檚 teeth is a noble act, but through my personal experience I discovered that I got the same if not better results from letting them chew on raw bones. Raw knuckle bones (the joints) in particular are great because they are soft and still have some tendons and muscle meat attached. They look kind of round like the shape of your fist. These bones clean your dog鈥檚 teeth in addition to providing them with a nice oral workout 鈥?not to mention a healthy dose of natural calcium.

Raw knuckle bones are soft and allow dogs of all sizes to scrape their teeth into the bone, nicely cleaning food and tartar from their teeth. The meat tissue typically still left on the bones allow for a separate type of chewing, which is natural and necessary for your dog. This is the nibbling and pulling you see your dog do with his front teeth. They will use their front teeth to pull the tissue off the bones which is a great way to clean these teeth 鈥?natural flossing, if you will.

  • Do you brush your teeth in the shower?

:]Do you brush your teeth in the shower?
LOL. nopeDo you brush your teeth in the shower?
I floss in the shower because I can stand up proper so my back doesn't strain, and I don't have to worry about drooling over my clothes. And then I wad up the floss and put it in a mesh re-usable coffee filter instead of the drain (so the drain doesn't clog).

I don't brush my teeth in the shower because.

    1. It would use up too much water if I did both floss and brush in the shower.

    2. I could stand up straight over the bathroom sink when I brush because I'm not drooling as much as when I floss over the sink. So the benefits of brushing in the shower is not as great as flossing in the shower.

    3. I brush more times in a day than I take showers, so I might as well do all my brushing in one place (over the sink).

But, brushing in the shower sounds like a good idea. If that's what you're doing, don't stop.
No, I don't want to accidentally swallow too much toothpaste.
    No,

but when I think about it that sounds like a good idea XD.
No, but it would save water. I will try it.
No, but that's a very good way to save water. I might try that.
Yes, as i wait for the water to warm up.
No, but I might try that sometime xD
i do! it always makes me feel extra clean. haha.

Can I brush my dog's teeth with crest?

I know you're supposed to get doggie toothpaste, but would it hurt the dog to clean her teeth with regular human toothpaste??Can I brush my dog's teeth with crest?
No. Buy a toothpaste made for dogs. It doesn't sudse. I don't know if fluoride can harm them. Can I brush my dog's teeth with crest?
You have basically gotten your answer. Do not brush your dog's teeth with human toothpaste. There are ingredients in our toothpaste that can make a dog sick or even be toxic to a dog. Stick with toothpaste made for dogs or just brush them with a dry brush. One thing that is good for the teeth but people worry about giving them to the dogs, raw bones. Not bones that have been boiled or out of a piece of meat that has been cooked, those bones will be brittle and can break into shards that are dangerous for the dog. Raw bones are not brittle and the dogs' teeth really get cleaned up when gnawing on the bones.

NO! That's basically like asking if you can feed your dog chocolate--which I hope you do know is not safe for a dog.

If you go to your local petstore, they have tubes of toothpaste that will be safe for your dog to use. They sell toothpaste as well as toothbrushes (which is better to use doggie toothbrushes because they softer for their gums) in packages that are about 10 bucks, which is cheaper rather than giving your dog crest toothpaste and having to go to the vet...
They do make dog toothpaste with fluoride in it only I'm not sure what the fluoride content is compared to human toothpaste. If you find out the level and it is the same I guess you can use the human toothpaste.Maybe I can find out the contents by searching around the net.
Dogs don't understand not to swallow toothpaste... so no, don't give him human toothpaste.

You can use baking soda and water, or you can just use a wet toothbrush. It's the stimulation of the gums that really makes the difference in a dogs oral health.
NO! Flouride is toxic to dogs! Many human toothpastes also contain Xylitol, which is highly toxic to dogs.

If you need to use something to brush your dog's teeth.. get some baking soda and make a ';paste'; out of it with a little water.. use that to brush his teeth with.
Yes, the fluoride in the toothpaste is bad for dogs and humans alike. Think about it, why do we spit out our toothpaste? Because its bad for us to swallow. You can't make a dog spit on command, so invest in a bottle of dog toothpaste.
No. Your dog is not able to rinse and spit. No one should ingest toothpaste. If you don't want to buy doggie paste, just use a brush and that will be just as good to remove some of the surface build up to prevent tartar from forming.
You cant use human toothpaste. You just cant. I dont think I need to explain, the people above me seem to have gave you all the information you needed.
I am sure it would not hurt, but she won't like it and doggie toothpaste has different substances they help a dog's teeth stay healthy.
They don't like the minty fresh feeling - just like we would not appreciate liver toothpaste.
they won't like the taste of crest so why not buy some toothpaste that is made for dogs. It tastes better for them and still gets the job done!!!
No. You can buy toothpast specially made for dogs at the pet store.
dogs don't appreciate minty feeling or hot tastes so i would hope you dont cuz he may also die.

    ask a vet
No, I brush my dogs' teeth with mint flavored dog tooth paste instead of the liver flavor.
    ya its hecka bad

just use water or some regular doggie tooth paste :D

    HOPE I HELPED
absolutely not! human toothpaste will make a dog sick. you must use doggie toothepaste or nothing at all!
NO they make doggie toothpaste for a reason!
no you have to buy a paticular toohpaste just for dogs and cats
i dont know they have things for their mouth to chew on like a toy
sure!! if u want him to DIE
my dog was never happy about getting his teeth brushed but i use crest on her teeth

What do you know about using a finger brush on baby's gums before teeth? have you heard anything from any?

doctors? What do you know about using a finger brush on baby's gums before teeth? have you heard anything from any?
Both my doctor and dentist told me to use just gauze pads wrapped around my finger and that's mostly just to get the baby used to the feeling for when you start to brush. I found though that once my daughter started teething it could set her off, I guess because of sensitivity. What do you know about using a finger brush on baby's gums before teeth? have you heard anything from any?
My doctor wanted me to at least wipe her gums with a soft cloth but said a finger brush was fine too since they aren't very hard. Half the time we forgot to wipe/brush her gums but once she had teeth we made sure to keep them clean.
I used a little finger brush by oragel with the NON-flourinated baby toothgel. It's no different than using a piece of gauze imo. Both my pediatricians told me to use a piece of gauze. Really, it's just recommended in order to get a good brushing routine and good habits established before the teeth come in (they'll be here before you know it).

Also, I think it feels good to babies who are teething to be able to knaw on a piece of gauze.
    My pediatrician said there was no need to brush the baby's gums before any teeth emerged. I believe the word she used was ';Pfffttthhh!';
My paediatrician and my doctor said that there was no need to start brushing until the first tooth appears. When you do start brushing, make sure you use a toothpaste with fluoride. You only need a little smear on the toothbrush. It may not look like a lot, but it gets the job done.
A finger brush is not a nessecity but a rinse out of the baby's mouth using a cloth is not only comforting to your baby but it gets the baby used to you going into their mouth when eruption begins.

The best thing to do is during bathtime, use a cloth and warm water and just rub around the baby's gums, side of cheeks and tongue. When eruption begins switch to a ';parent brush'; which is a very, very soft, long-handled toothbrush, Because you have been going into the mouth with the washcloth this shouldn't be any more difficult.

Not rinsing out your child's mouth can cause the milk that they are drinking to sour which is uncomfortable for baby.
my child health nurse and dentist said a wet face washer will do the trick and def no toothpaste until at least 18months old.
Great item when a child is an infant. You can also use a wet washrag.

Do you brush your teeth before or after you eat breakfast?

I brush them before, but a lot of Americans brush them after. Is it a cultural thing?Do you brush your teeth before or after you eat breakfast?
After. There is nothing more disgusting than orange juice right after brushing your teethDo you brush your teeth before or after you eat breakfast?
    before...Im American
uh.. i do both because i hate the way my mouth feels in teh morning and then i don;t like going to school and having food still lodged inbetween my molars.
if it eat breakfast, i brush my teeth after
    Both
i do after, so when i leave they can be extra clean and not have any leftovers from breakfast on them

    PEACE
I usually brush them before, because I eat crackers or something small for breakfast once i get to work.

When I'm off, or go in later, I brush them after.
    after always
I brush them before - it's the 2nd thing i do in the morning.
    Before.
Before! I don't want to eat food with bad breath.
    before%26amp;after
after breakfast, whats the point of doing it beofre , then they would be dirty again after breakfast anyway and there would be a minty taste in your mouth while eating breakfast lol
I always brush them after. It just seems to me pointless to brush them then eat something. Just the way I see it.
I always brush them after, but if I wake up with a really nasty taste in my mouth, I'll brush them before too.
    before
    after...
After. If I did it before, I would just have to do it again.
    Before......
After, just so my cereal doesn't taste like toothpaste and a.s.s.
after..........its gross the tates of cerel and toothpaste
    Usually before
    bothh.

i brush them rite when i wake up, cuz i hate bad breath.

and then i brush them after to make sure they're clean.

No matter how tired I am I still find the time NOT to brush my teeth. I'm saving all the growth for the dentist; she needs to make a living too you know. ...However, lately I've been suspecting that the babes I've been dating are brushing my teeth while I'm asleep. ...Frankly, I think that's dental abuse. ;-)Do you brush your teeth at least twice a day or are you one that has the growth?
I brush my teeth at least 5 times daily, but seem to have a problem at least once a week.Do you brush your teeth at least twice a day or are you one that has the growth?
O come on, I don't have anytime to do that when I've got to be on the computer all day. I barely can find to eat, since this site I've almost starved to death this week. Who can remember to brush!! LOL

Actually I'm not to regular, but usually before I go to sleep , I usually forget in the morning cause I usually drink a capachino.
yes i brush my teeth 2 times
    once a day
I brush and floss 3 times a day, and I still get a growth, but it's much lower down.
I brush 2-3x a day. I love having clean teeth. It grosses me out when people have crap stuck in their teeth. Plus, I hate going to the dentist for more than a cleaning... not too keen on getting shots and my teeth drilled and all that trauma.
yeah,i brush my teeth twice a day,no matter how tired i m i still find time to brush my teeth.

What is an easy way to brush a samoyed?

A Samoyed is double coated and are not easy to groom. You have to brush from the skin to the top by lifting up the outer layer of hair. Expect to have wads of hair that you have to work through. I've stayed away from dogs with thick coats because of that problem plus they can easily over heat in the summertime. That breed of dog originated in Siberia which is about the coldest place on earth. Talk to a good groomer and see if you can get some ideas about grooming including either thinning or shortening the dogs hair. What is an easy way to brush a samoyed?
get a long bristle brush and work it..

train it well so it'll sit and stand on your command

or just take it to the groomers, but that'll cost youWhat is an easy way to brush a samoyed?
    No such thing as ';easy';!

    Takes HOURS....takes TRAINING.....takes elbow grease %26amp; sweat.
Get a pin brush, rake, and comb.

Brush teeth before or after breakfast?

What do you do?Brush teeth before or after breakfast?
I do it before and after... I hate the morning taste and you can never brush your teeth to muchBrush teeth before or after breakfast?
Brushing your teeth before you eat breakfast can help to prevent the dental erosion that can wear away your teeth. A recent survey by the Foundation found that over three-quarters of people ( 81%) were unaware that brushing their teeth after eating acidic food and drink can damage their teeth perman Report Abuse

After breakfast. Teeth should be brushed after all meals and at bedtime. Most of us don't brush that often but always brush after not before a meal if you are going to brush.
after because then your breathe will smell bad from the food. and you would be defeating the whole purpose of brushing your teeth. and also im sure your meal would taste gross
    after, of course.
    after breakfast!
It would make sense to brush after eating breakfast because then your teeth would stay clean until lunch but when I'm rushing and already in the bathroom putting my makeup on and getting dressed I usually brush my teeth and just grab a muffin or a piece of toast on my way out the door.
after, before wouldn't make much sense
both, brush before and then after.
usually after... but if im running late then before
I usually brush before and after, but if i don't do both then i do it after i eat...
    After Meals Would Be Best
I brush my teeth as soon as I get up and then as soon as I leave the house for the day. It only takes about 1 minute more and my breathe is always fresh.
Before....I brush my teeth before I leave for work and eat breakfast when I get to work.
It depends when I plan on eating breakfast, lets say I wake up at 9:30am, and don't play on eating till 10:30am I would consider it.
After breakfast......if I do it before breakfast my food taste gross.
    After.
    After
Let's see now. How much plaque do you think builds up over night? Just how fresh is your breath in the morning?

Would you want to eat off a dirty plate?

I would say a big YES to brushing before eating! Then brush again after!

AND A BIG YES!!! FOR ALL OF YOU WHO DO BEFORE AND AFTER!!! YOUR DENTIST LOVES YOU FOR IT!
after, coffee tastes horrible right after you brush your teeth
    After
i generally wait and brush after breakfast, unless we are going out for breakfast, then before.
You can always rinse your mouth in the morning then brush after eating.
    usually after
    After breakfast

What brand of black eye shadow should i buy? also what kind of brush works well for the smokey eye look?

Definitely Mac! And you can find it cheap enough...

Check this search I made for you: http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-鈥?/a>

I hope it helps. What brand of black eye shadow should i buy? also what kind of brush works well for the smokey eye look?
If you don't mind spending money, try MAC's black eyeshadow, its perfect for smokey eyes, and a good brush for the smokey eye look are eyeliner brushes(don't get the stiff-edged one that are squareish, use the softer ones that are similar shape as the bristles on the lip brushes.

If you don't want to spend too much money, you can try a shadow from L'Oreal, CoverGirl, Revlon, or Prestige(all found at drugstores). My personal favorite is L'Oreal's Wear Infinite Eye Shadow in lush Raven(first link underneath) if you want the mac though, i suggest the eyeshadow singles in Black Tied and CarbonWhat brand of black eye shadow should i buy? also what kind of brush works well for the smokey eye look?
buy one that lasts long e.g. Mac or escence and the smokey eye look is usually achieved with the little brushes included with most eyeshadows in the market
I'd suggest Carbon by MAC. to get a smokey look-- apply the shadow with a normal eyeshadow brush, then get a fluffy one to smoke it out so its not harsh.

http://www.clinique.com/templates/produc鈥?/a>Can I use a bronzer brush to apply powder foundation?
    yes!

the brush is just going to effect the coverage, so play with it..

if you just want to use that brush all over with powder foundation there shouldn't be a problem. Can I use a bronzer brush to apply powder foundation?
It's most likely too large a brush for your cheekbones. You could probably get by in a pinch, like if you are traveling, but if you tend to use rather bright or strong-colored blush, this brush is more likely to spread it farther than you need and you could end up looking clownish.
You can use any brush to put on whatever coverage you would like. You can even use a toothbrush to comb through your lashes. I happen to prefer using a blush brush to put on my powder foundation as it gives me more control.
Sure you can( I love mineral foundation, would never go back to liquid),I've used different shapes of brushes over the years....works like a charm....:)
Im sure you can. i suggest washing it after you use your bronzer though, dont wanna mix them or else it will come out a weird color on your face! =]
    Sure
    I don't see why not.

For this specific purpose, Corel Paintshop Pro XI would be the best choice. It has a tool that specifically clarifies the look of skin, and is easy to use. You can download a free trial at http://www.corel.com .

Here are some other programs where you can do this, and these are all free, they don't have the specific filter though, but you just have to learn how to do it.

Where can I find a brush gaurd for my 2002 Sante Fe?

In other words, you are looking for a people killer. Your vehicle is designed so a person who is hit folds over the hood, and cuts the odds of catastrophic or fatal injury. Bush guards pretty much guarantee that a collision with a person at speed busts them in 3. That being said, pretty much any auto accesories outfit would be able to get one to fit your vehicle, if you really are planning on serious off-roading in the woods. And no, I am not anti-suv. I just believe bush guards should be used on very few suvs or trucks, as most of them never, ever go off the road. The pedestrian-friendly hood, which reduces the impact when a person bounces off the top of the car, is mandated in Europe and Asia since those regions require pedestrian safety. The addition of brush guards is different, they are less stout and differetly shaped, and cannot dramatically increase the possiblility of death and dismemberment. We here in the North America are free to not really give a crap about pedestrian injuries. Just imagine your 13 year old on a bicycle, and what he of she would look like after being hit by a vehicle with a solid steel rack on the front of it, like the ones pictured on these sites, and then tell me it isn't a people killer on city streets. But, they look cool, and that seems to be more important to many people.

Do short hair German Sheherd's leave hair all over if you brush them daily?

And just in general will they leave hair around the house?Do short hair German Sheherd's leave hair all over if you brush them daily?
ProbablyDo short hair German Sheherd's leave hair all over if you brush them daily?
Yep, all the German Shepherds I've ever known shed quite a bit. All dogs shed, just like all humans lose hair daily too.

Generally the ones that shed less are the ones that need to go to the groomers for haircuts.
Yes. Most german shepards shed ALOT. Mine would litterally leave balls of fur around when we brushed her.
German shepherds shed twice a year: January through July and August through December.

Seriously, German shepherds are double coated dogs -- meaning that they have a dense fluffy undercoat and longer guard hairs over that. The undercoat is probably what causes most of your dog's shedding, and no matter how much you brush them, it seems like they can always find some more fur to decorate the house with.

Sometimes I wonder if they go out at night and borrow fur from the neighbors' dogs, just to have more to shed! ;-)
Yes, they do...actually short haired dogs shed just as much if not more than long hair as once their hair reaches a certain length it falls out and is replaced to start the growth over...so quicker to get to the short for replacement
yeah they really have lots of fur
yes all shepherds shed bad even if they are short or long haired

  • Trim, Baseboard, Caseing.... to spary or brush the paint on?

We opted to paint our new house ourselves. We have painted all the walls %26amp; are now moved on to the trim. The trim is not installed yet, we have already primed and sanded all of it and we are ready to paint it.

So the question is..... Are we better of renting a TRUE airless sprayer for $70 or just to brush the paint on. Advice, input, or recomendations are appreciated!Trim, Baseboard, Caseing.... to spary or brush the paint on?
Paint with a brush...The ones from Lowes like a pastry brush are great, not expensive.........also the sponge brushes are good and they are cheaper too....Good luck....Trim, Baseboard, Caseing.... to spary or brush the paint on?
Spend the extra 10 bucks on the best brush you can get and you will leave far less brush lines. Eggshell finish leaves less shine and hides defects. Semi-gloss shows more, and flat absorbs light and leaves a dull look to the painted area.

Buy a sash brush and a 2 and 4 inch brush brush to better detail your and less dripping in tight spots.
brush, then install, then final coat, got to cover up the nails, also think about caulking edges, tops of baseboards, edges of casings, gives a cleaner and more professional appearance
You'll use far less paint, and do a better job, with a brush.
brush it on. not thickly. do 2 coats.

Poll: How often do you brush your teeth?

Which should you do first: brush, floss or use mouthwash?

What is the most effective way to clean your teeth?

In what order should you do these things:

    A) Brush your teeth

    B) Floss your teeth

    C) Use mouthwash

Just curious, thanks!Which should you do first: brush, floss or use mouthwash?
    1. Brush to remove most of the plaque. Rinse with water.

    2. Floss to get rid of plaque between the teeth. Rinse with water.

    3. Don't bother with mouthwashes like Listerine that contain essential oils or cetylpyridium. They have no significant effect. Consider such mouthwashes to be only mouth FRESHENERS. Save your money.

The only effective antibacterial mouthwashes contain chlorhexidine, which I give to patients requiring extractions or surgery, and then only for a few days.

If you're brushing and flossing regularly, then that's all YOU need to do.Which should you do first: brush, floss or use mouthwash?
The most effective way is to do all three in ANY order. Just do it regularly. Whatever works best for you is best. I prefer to swish some water in my mouth first then spit, then brush, then floss, then use mouthwash, but I don't always do it in that order. It's just a personal preference.
I would floss my teeth to get rid of any food lodged in the gaps, then brush my teeth to keep them looking white and shiney then lastly gargle with mouthwash to give me a fresh breath
I think you have it listed right. When I go to the dentist for a cleaning, that's what they do....brush first and then floss.
we are not sure on the correct order of opperations either, but this is our order!

    A)Floss your teeth

    B) Brush your teeth

    C) Use mouthwash
I usually first brush then floss. I don't use mouthwash.
Floss first. It dislodges all that gunk and bacteria, which you will want to bruch away. Then brush. Mouthwash is generally not necessary if you are flossing a brushing regularly, but do that last if you like to.
    Brush,then floss, in that order.
who cares as long as they are all completed, and all in the same sitting!
    A, B, C...in that order.
    Floss, Brush and then Rinse
    yes it dose matter.

flossing dredges up bacteria and loosens plaque so start with that.

brushing removes the plaque and bacteria

mouth wash kills any bacteria that's left on the soft tissue.
The correct way they tought us in school was floss, brush, rinse. but it really does not matter which is first. the only one that matter is rinsing. make sure that is last, or you will wash away the effects it should have.
This is the order I do it:

    1. Floss

    2. Brush

    3. Gargle

I had my three wisdom teeth removed on thursday, so can i brush over the stitched areas gently now?

not if there is stitching you have to brush over the stitching and when the stitching is removed then it is safe to brush, but gently because the area is still very sensitive. so be careful.I had my three wisdom teeth removed on thursday, so can i brush over the stitched areas gently now?
your allowed to brush after 24 hrs. but their is no need to brush the stitches at all. use the water squirter they give to wash away food but dont brush the area with a tooth brush you will hurt urselfI had my three wisdom teeth removed on thursday, so can i brush over the stitched areas gently now?
It would be easier if you used a chlorhexidine mouthwash, e.g. Savacol, Peridex. This will keep the sutures and the rest of your mouth very clean, without the need for brushing. DON';T use Listerine-type products.

I scrub all my patients' mouths with this prior to multiple or difficult extractions where suturing will be necessary, and give them a bottle to take home and use, and they come back squeaky clean. Absolutely no plaque on the sutures at all.
i got all four of mine out on wednesday and i can barely open my mouth wide enough to fit my toothbrush in...if you can, i say go for it but stop right away if it hurts.
I wouldn't brush over those areas until after you go for your recheck - you don't want to accidentally pull out a suture.
Hey There Don't brush there I had my wisdom teeth out in September and brushed my stiched areas the day after and it hurt
A very light brushing with mouthwashes is necessary to keep it clean of bacteria. Use a brush with 'ULTRA SOFT' bristles, Sensodyne is a good brand. Brush gentl and make sure there is no blood on the toothbrush after brushing.

I had dental surgery for implants and this was the dentists recommendation

How long should you wait to brush your teeth after eating?

As long as you haven't had anything overly sugary (Coke) or citric (lemonade), brushing as soon after you eat is best. The longer food particles stay in your mouth, the more they will sink in between your teeth, into your gums, etc. I've really noticed a difference brushing right after I eat vs a few hours later - lots of gunk comes out brushing right afterwards. How long should you wait to brush your teeth after eating?
    about an hour.

as if you brush your teeth straight after eating-especially fizzy drinks or food with high sugar content- you will brush away the tooth enamel( as sugar softens the enamel).

hope this helps :DHow long should you wait to brush your teeth after eating?
I didn't know it was necessary to wait. You brush right away, just rise with water first.

I want to buy a nice brush for my hair to use when I blow it dry. I have very fine, thin hair, and it is?

long. What is the best kind of brush to buy and where is the best place to buy one?I want to buy a nice brush for my hair to use when I blow it dry. I have very fine, thin hair, and it is?
CON AIRI want to buy a nice brush for my hair to use when I blow it dry. I have very fine, thin hair, and it is?
I have thin , very easily broken hair. if i use the round brushes unless its a natural one it breaks and damages my hair. So i have a wide paddle cermamic brush. (its really good ) And a detangling comb ( i love love love my detangling comb)
Get a boar bristle round brush. It will add volume to your hair without much breakage. I got mine on sephora.com, or just go to your local beauty store like Ulta. Good luck!
i have a ceramic brush. it is bug and roung but you can find them in a variety of colours, styles, shpes and sizes. you can find one at your local salon and they range anywhere from 5-25 bucks.

    ciao!!
You should use a round brush with briseles. A brush like this will help strengthen your hair....buy it at a discount store, walmart, or hair supply store. You should use a deep conditioner also.
uuuuummmmmm ok i buy my brushes at sallys hair sallon

ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO USE A BRUSH WITH LIQUID MAKEUP?

    like this one?

    http://www.clinique.com/products/CATEGORY4900/Makeup/Foundations/index.tmpl

    cause i use a sponge?

but I want a flawless look, do I use a brush?ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO USE A BRUSH WITH LIQUID MAKEUP?
The sponges waste a LOT of product. I would rather use a brush. Most professionals use a brush. It will last forever if you take care of it. Be sure to clean it after every use with an antibacterial brush cleaner spray. And, once a week under running water with a very gentle baby shampoo. To get a flawless look, apply with the brush in a 'stippling' (like a tapping) motion, NOT a sweeping, wall-painting motion. Good luck.ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO USE A BRUSH WITH LIQUID MAKEUP?
If you mean the yellow and brown-tipped one on the left, then yes. You can also use a sponge or your clean fingers; all three methods are great. You fingers gives more sheer finish, though. I personally use sponges, which give more full coverage; however, I have heard that sponges soak up a little bit of your foundation. Brushes also give full coverage. Make sure to buy one with synthetic fibers for creams and liquids. They all give flawless coverage, but keep in mind that the application tool is only half of it; your technique is also very important. Experiment; different people prefer different things.
I apply my liquid foundation with a brush and it makes my face look flawless and airbrushed! You always want to brush down toward the jawline (lightly). I wouldn't suggest using a sponge because they do exactly what they're were meant to do. They soak up most of the foundation it touches, so you waste a lot. I heard that sponges are good for blending, but I found that the ';sponged'; look is no different than the ';finger'; look. Also, don't forget to wash your brush after every use so that bacteria doesn't spread. Good Luck!
You can use a brush (foundation or concealer brush) for a flawless look, but it has to be of good quality.

You can use a sponge, but they're very unsanitary, apparently.

I use a FOUNDATION brush for CONCEALING but I apply my foundation with my fingers.

    Hope this helps :]
well I think a lot of people say you should use a brush...but I don't. I just use my fingers and it works fine for me, as long as I moisturize before applying the foundation. (btw, if your foundation isn't going on well, try moisturizing your face first!) I haven't reeeally tried brushes, but I have tried sponges and they didn't work at all for me!
You don't have to, but I feel like sponges absorb more product than you actually put on your face.

I like using a briush but thats just me. sometimes I use my fingers because it warms up the product but it can look a little streaky. But I ALWAYS use my fingers with concealer!
no. you get sponge-like things. they're usually white, triangular, and comes in a pack of like 10 or so. you can get them basically anywhere.

    http://wwwdelivery.superstock.com/WI/223鈥?/a>

    that's what they look like.
I used to use a sponge but I switched to using a brush, it's actually worked better for me and has given me more of a 'flawless' look.
Yes, you are supposed to use a brush. You can use a sponge, but personally I think that brushes make the foundation go on smoother.
for best results use a brush and afterwards use a sponge for a more natural look just tap it gently though cause it wastes a lot of the foundation
A brush would leave the best finish but you dont have to use one. Theres other alternatives like sponges, cottonballs, and your fingers.
NOOOOOOOOOOO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NEVER EVER DO THAT
    you can use anything q:
i think the brushes work somewhat better.

  • Why a bitter taste is felt in the mouth when eating after you brush your teeth?

sodium laurel sulfate...this stuff actually serves to also block your ';sweet'; tastebuds. It is found in toothpaste. Why a bitter taste is felt in the mouth when eating after you brush your teeth?
    Toothpaste mint additives?

You cool your tongue with the mint toothpaste, it kinds takes your mouth juice off, and leaves your cavity without it for some time, sort of unprotected.

That's why your taste senses sharpen.

The only thing I can think of.Why a bitter taste is felt in the mouth when eating after you brush your teeth?
It is because a chemical in the toohpaste causes your taste buds to be turned off for a while.

You can get rid of it by washing your mouth out with salt and water (dont swallow it) right after you have brushed your teeth.

Your food will taste exactly the same after doing that :)
probably cause you use a differnent tooth paste than what you are eating.

your teeth are clean and have no taste in your mouth from any foods so anything you eat will have an exaturated taste. It just happens to be something you are eating that causes the bitterness to come out.
I don't know i always wondered that if you find out shoot me an email.

How can we pick up a color from a printed paper and transfer it to a plain paper by a paint brush?

First, place the image that you want to transfer face down on the surface that you want to accept the image. Brush paint thinner or rubbing alcohol on the back of the image. Keep in mind that the image will transfer in reverse, so any printed text will read backward. Also, avoid oversaturating the original so that it doesn't just disintegrate. Make sure that you have adequate ventilation when using solvents.

i no it is good to brush with baking soda but is it good to do it every day ?I no it is good to brush with baking soda but?
three times a week. it is abrasive.I no it is good to brush with baking soda but?
NO it is NOT good to brush with regular household baking soda at all! Never use it. It is like rubbing sandpaper on your teeth. Destroys the enamel.

Only use toothpaste that contains baking soda (specially made to be gentle)

I doubts that the breath of my mouth is not good although I brush my teeth two times a day.?

I wash my mouth every time after I have foods and I drinks alot of water in the morning. But the problem was not solve. And one bad thing is that my teeth are looks like yellow. I can't have confident because of these bad health problems in social life. Please give me suggestions to solve my problems. THANK YOU ALL.I doubts that the breath of my mouth is not good although I brush my teeth two times a day.?
Use some Whitening toothpaste, such as Arm and Hammer... most leading brands, and supermarkets have a type of whitening toothpaste, a little more expensive than regular, but well worth it for smokers, coffee drinkers and people fond of red wine! after a few weeks you realy will notice a difference. Also, you can buy Chewing Gum woth microgranules (i think Wrigleys Orbit) that helps to clean and whiten teeth, so you can chew that between meals.I doubts that the breath of my mouth is not good although I brush my teeth two times a day.?
Go to a health food store and buy some Parsley tablets. Sometimes bad breath is caused by stomach acids and Parsley helps. Keep brushing your teeth, flossing and drink lots of water.
You need to floss, there is a lot of Bactria between our teeth. Keep drinking a lot of water put also try sipping green tea. It kills Bactria that casue bad breath. As far a your teeth go get a toothpaste like Crest Night Effects that will make you teeth whiter. I use it and I love it!! If this does not help you need to go see your dentist because you could have gum disease.
Carry the little Listerine things that melt in your mouth ! As far as the yellowing,go to the dentist for a good cleaning and there are many whitening products out there .
yellow teeth is due to not not brushing properly/smoking/coffee (plague build up) and is the major cause of gum disease, so make sure you brush for two minutes, twice a day!

Also, u need to floss once daily to remove plague between teeth, use a tongue scraper and listerine mouthwash daily.

Carrying chewing gum or breath freshener strips/spray also will really help.

water will not really solve this problem! If you think u have gum disease (need to visit your dentist if your gums bleed easily/bad breath/swollen gums/lots of plague/gaps between teeth) use CORSODYL mouthwash, it's a good medication.

    :-)
    Hi

Do you drink alot ot tea, black current or red wine? as these will all stain your teeth! Often it is difficult to remove the staining by brushing and so 'dental' bleaching kits can help. You dentist can advise you more although they can be purchased in chemists in the UK. The only problem with shop bought kits is that's the gum shields/stents do not fit well where as if you have ones made by a dentist they will fit tightly and securely allowing you to even be able to wear them at night. Bleaching is not always 100% successful but maybe worth a try!

As for bad breath....well if you are cleaning your teeth twice a day you shouldn't have much of a problem from a dental point of view....however if you are getting a horrible taste one side of your mouth or a specific area of your mouth then you may have a leaking filling or crown. this would then need treatment from a dentist and shouldn't be left.

Another cause of bad breath can be acid reflux. stomach reflux into your mouth.

Be careful what you eat...try to avoid too many acidic foods. I think you can buy antacids medications from the chemist...its worth asking about at your local pharmacy!

Chewing sugar free gum could also help

    Listerine is a great mouthwash!

    Hope this helps.

This is not a medical diagnosis....just my thoughts.
You teeth are yellow due to plaque buildup and brushing alone won't get rid of it. You need to go to a dentist to get a cleaning and polishing with flouride paste. Also, what you eat/drink can also affect your teeth, such as drinking a lot of tea/coffee which stains teeth, as well as red wine. You need to go to an oral hygeinist every 6 months to get your teeth cleaned of plaque/tartar and polished.
Buy a tongue scraper %26amp; get one of those battery operated tooth brush. Also Listerine is the best to kill germs in the mouth.

Try using a new brush %26amp; rinse your mouth with baking soda %26amp; rinsing with it after you use the normal toothpaste %26amp; listerine.
Buy a tongue scraper.I start brushing my tongue...and that helped a lot!
well first buy a toothpaste with gentle whitening, i suggest colgate and whitening toothpaste. dont forget to drink lots of water and brush your tongue. dont overuse mouthwashes and brush teeth twice a day.
No one has mentioned it, but the problem may arise from your stomach giving off noxious smells. Get it checked.
Tough situation, but don't worry. I think you should go to a dentist, get you teeth cleaned, and ask him/her for any ideas. I bet you they would name plenty! You are doing a great job on cleaning you teeth, but you just need a little boost. If you want, you could even put a couple of mints in your pocket, or even carry those little bottles of mouth wash. No problem with that. You could even brush your teeth between meals, but I doubt anyone does that.LOL! Anyway, I hope this helps, and if you need to talk, e-mail me at Ice122@myway.com Bye!
bad breath can be caused by other things than oral hygiene. Have a word with your dentist, you might need some antibiotic treatment or have a fungal infection so I would ask someone that can see if theres a physical problem.

As for the colour of your teeth, after you have ruled out stains then it could be the natural colour of the teeth. Whitening toothpaste will help a bit or I have found a sonic tooth brush improved the colour.
Ewww. Your breath smells like fresh doo-doo.
According to the BDA if you lick your wrist and it stinks then there's a fair chance that your breath does too, get a total care toothpaste with a built in whitener, eleccy toothbrush, decent floss etc etc
If you have brushed your teeth thorough as instructed by a Dentist but you still have yellow teeth then you may have two sources extrinsic or Intrinsic.

Extrinsic ; caused by food we eat this is also called calculus(tarta)

Intrinsic;caused by minerals that help make up teeth as they grow eg Fluorosis (too much fluoride)

You will need a professional cleaning by your dentist. It is called scaling to remove culculus in case of extrinsic.

You will need crowns placed on your teeth if you mind the colour incase of intrisic . It may cost more than buying a new flat screen though

See your dentist and he should sort it out for you
its most probably originating from your stomach so why not visit your surgery
    clean 'em with 'bleach'
Try listerine - that stuff really is dynamite! Or chewing gum (sugar free). Or mints.

You may have halistosis - probably worth discussing your issues with a Doctor.

You could also try getting your teeth proffessionally cleaned by a Dentist (makes a world of difference).

    Talk to your dentist,

I have the same problem, and thought it was gum disease, but I then found out it was a side effect of being pregnant, and it never went away. I have healthy gums, they just bleed to beat everything.

Make sure you floss, and when you do brush, brush down on your gums with soft pressure.

That is what my dentist told me to do.How do i stop my gums bleeding when brushing my teeth i brush twice a day and have had this problem for years?
It is possible that your toothbrush is too hard and that there is nothing wrong with your gums, however it may also indicate gum disease. Do you visit your dentist regularly and get regular de-scaling? If not, it may be the answer.
Well, the dentist would advise you have gum disease, and would recommend flossing as well as brushing. Brushing cannot get between the teeth and under the gumline, which is where your problem is.
Brushes are in general hard. Gums are the softest tissue in the body. Brush with care, and after brushing, take some salt, turmeric and oil, make a paste, and finger brush for 5 minutes. This should stop the bleeding.
Agree with all the above, also if you have crowns, this can be food deposits between them.

You can get micro brushes, a bit like small pipe cleaners, from Boots.

    Use these between teeth.
Is the case of gingivitis and not flossing your teeth(properly that is, If you do). Floss more, Use mouthwash that battles gingivitis, and see a dentist for more info.
My dentist told me I brush too hard! I have since changed to an electric toothbrush and dont have a problem anymore! I still get it when I'm on holiday and using a normal brush tho'!
My dentist told me off because I brush too hard and frantically which puts too much preassure on my gumline which makes them bleed. Have taken a calmer approach to brushing, so far so good!!
You need to see your dentist, gums that have been bleeding for a long period of time should always be checked out.
that happens when you dont floss enough, i have that problem too (: also try massaging your gums with your toothbrush.
You need to treat it - gingivitis can just get worse and worse and cause serious gum problems eventually.
use Mouthwash.. crest pro health.. it'll stop the bleeding and the gum disease! My gums bled forever until i started using that mouth wash twice a day.. now they dont! : )
    Do you floss?

Do I have to brush after chewing sugar-free gum?

Let's say my last meal of the day is at 5pm. After I eat dinner, I floss, brush, waterpik, and use mouthwash.

Now, let's say around 8pm I want to chew some sugar-free gum. Is it necessary for me to brush my teeth again before I go to bed, just because I chewed sugar-free gum?

just curious.Do I have to brush after chewing sugar-free gum?
I would chew my gum before I brushed my teeth and all that fun stuff.Do I have to brush after chewing sugar-free gum?
There are calories in gum, so its not like drinking water (where you don't need to brush after drinking it).

I find that when I've been chewing gum (I usually chew Trident or Stride), even after I have brushed my teeth, my teeth don't feel as clean.

It's probably a good idea to brush them; just because there isn't sugar doesn't mean that there isn't other ingredients in gum that could eat away at your teeth.

Do you need to brush your dogs teeth?

It does help them to keep their teeth longer that is for sure. Plus it does help their breath. A vet or reputable groomer can perform this service for a moderate charge or you can do it yourself with the correct toolsDo you need to brush your dogs teeth?
I brush my dogs teeth all the time. Keeps them clean and healthy. You can also get dog treats from the store that help in the cleaning..Do you need to brush your dogs teeth?
If you have a young dog ... you can train it to allow you to brush it's teeth .. IT certainly won't hurt .

But you can also provide chew toys that will help keep the teeth clean and provide your dog with some LARGE RAW bones ( like a marrow bone ) and that helps as well .

NEVER give a dog ANY bone that has been cooked as cooking changes the bone's texture and it causes the bone to splinter and that is harmful to your dog .
yes and they have some great flavors too...fillet mignon is my dogs favorite.
no,,,, but monthly scaling of the back molars ( specially top ones) is a very good thing...
It doesn't hurt to brush your dog's teeth regularly. Many of them come to enjoy the experience. The doggy toothpaste (don't use people products on your dog) is flavored and is like getting an extra treat, not to mention the added attention that their owner is giving them.

It also helps, as brushing does with people, to cut down on unwanted deposits that can often only be removed by an expert.
