Is it healthy to brush your teeth more than twice a day?

Yes, it's recommended that you brush after each meal, in the morning and at night. Is it healthy to brush your teeth more than twice a day?
it could damage your gums if you do it to oftenIs it healthy to brush your teeth more than twice a day?
Just be sure you're using a proper technique and a soft bristled toothbrush so you don't damage your gums. Three times a day or even more if you develop plaque quickly is fine. Keep in mind that chewing sugarless gum can be helpful to keep plaque at bay after eating as well, so it's not always necessary to brush.
Sure it is but most people do not make this a practice. After eating foods, it is recommended. Your teeth and gums will stay healthier by doing this every day.
yes it is supose to be done 3 times a day?
more than healthy..
my dentist told me to brush after every meal which means 3 times a day! He told me to get an extra soft toothbrush and floss too!
Depending upon the toothpaste and toothbrush you use- you can brush to often. Although i brush after each meal and haven't had any problems. Ask your dentist about this concern! That's what they're there for. And of course what we pay them for. :)
yes, duh!
i was living with someone for a few months and growing up she brushed her teeth pretty much whenever she could.. well im exaggerating a little but she told me that she brushed her teeth like 5 times a day or something like that and now she gets to live with dentures.. in my opinion thats kinda creepy.. im hoping i dont have to deal with those.. but the link below talks about overbrushing.. you should check it out and i hope it helps
no. if you ask your dentist he will tell you that you are in danger of overbrushing. you will find your teeth becoming more sensitive in time. twice a day is the recommended amount.
how many times do you eat? you supose to brush minimum 3 times a day! just dont brush to hard on your gums and dont forget your tongue!
